Is a procedure that can help sculpt the body by removing unwanted fat from specific areas, including the abdomen, hips, buttocks, thighs, knees, upper arms, chin, cheeks and neck. The removed fat tissue can be filtrated and put back into parts where there is a need for it (Lipofilling).

Operative technique

Through a minor skin prick special instruments are inserted (cannulas) under the skin so the fat can be aspirated.

Duration of procedure and anesthesia

The surgery is usually under general anesthesia, sometimes local and lasts 1 – 1,5 hours.

Recovery

Return to normal activities after 5 – 7 days, wearing elastic bend for 2 weeks after the surgery.

Rare complications

Haematomas around the incisions as well as swelling of the tissue that would withdraw within up to two weeks.

Objective

Removal of the excess skin and subcutaneous fat tissue on all the body parts occurred as a consequence of a massive weight loss. For this operation the patient should be well prepared, should have had a stable body weight for the last 6 months and should not suffer from other severe illnesses.

Operative technique

This surgery usually is performed in two acts. The first act is significantly larger and includes abdominoplasty or removal of the sagging abdomen with strengthening the muscles of the anterior abdominal wall, removal of the excess skin from the hips and the back with shaping of the sitting region which gets a more rounded contour, as well as reduction of the perimeter of the thighs by lifting the skin and liposuction. Dermatolipectomy is a major surgical procedure to remove excess of skin and fat from the middle and lower abdomen. And during this procedure the muscles that have loosened possibly from pregnancy can be tightened.

Operative technique

The so called bikini (from hipbone to hipbone) incision goes horizontally in the lower abdomen above the genital region just above the pubic area. The skin is separated from the abdominal wall all the way up to your ribs then a large skin flap is lifted to reveal the vertical muscles in the abdomen so they can be tightened by pulling them closer together. The doctor will also take care for the new position of your belly button to look as natural as possible.

Duration of procedure and anesthesia

The surgery is done in general anesthesia and lasts 2 - 2.5 hours.

Recovery

The drains are removed after 48 hours when you will leave the hospital, after the surgery you should wear elastic band for 1 month and also abstaining from major physical activities.

Objective

Enhancing and lifting the gluteus region by inserting silicone implants or with own fat tissue.

Operative technique

The implants are inserted through a small vertical incision in the upper part of the gluteus fold, and the incision is common for the both sides. A simpler way is with the own fat tissue, previously extracted by liposuction from the abdomen or some other region.

Duration of procedure and anesthesia

The surgery can be performed in peridural blockade or general anesthesia and lasts around 1.5 hours.

Recovery

Sitting difficulties in the first days after the surgery, the sutures are removed after seven days.

Rare complications

Swelling and sitting discomfort in the first weeks following the surgery.

Preparation for Surgery
Before your scheduled appointment for surgery, you must take care of the recommendations given to you by the doctor from the previous reviews and consultations (physical activity, nutrition, rest and medications if necessary).
After interventions under general anesthesia is necessary to stay in hospital for one or two days. The operations under general anesthesia are performed in the general hospital Remedika.
